April 9, 2007: Shamiso Maponderan is developing his business within a local incubator after officing at home for two years. He writes, "First of all, I want to say that your show is a God-send. While MBA programs provide invaluable information that can prepare one for a career or business venture, there is nothing like hearing the first-hand personal experience of real-world, small-business people for getting entrepreneurial education, advice and inspiration. On top of that, your shows do an excellent job of distilling that information into simple, easy steps that I can implement."
Such a television show gets very little respect. Your letter encourages us to keep on keeping on with the dream of having everybody working on their story and the best of these stories being lifted up for all of us to be learn and be inspired. So, thank you Shamiso! You got it. We hope you are a member of your local station. We readily welcome you to be a member of Small Business School. With warmest regards, Bruce & Hattie
