Thanks so much for writing. Great to hear from you.
And, thank you for your comments on the episode about democratic capitalism and economic independence. That is one of our very favorite episodes. But catch us another day... we have so many favorites!
Now, if I recall, we had a verbal agreement to help you with your SCORE work when you sponsored the show on the local station. We would love to help in any way that we can. And, remember, Ken Yancey, national CEO of SCORE is an old friend of ours. So let's get your SCORE people all registered on the site, let me know and we will give them a year's access for free.
Every new counseling session might begin with Staying Power - What it takes to have a Sustainable Business. Then that person might use that episode with every new person they hire or take on as a contractor or consultant. At some point every counselor should work with the owner and their CPA and have them work through “Understand the Lifeblood of Your Business” about tracking key critical ratios. It is so under-estimated! And then on federal holidays, I think every employee should be coached by the owner and they all watch that episode about democratic capitalism.
Also, if you all have some CPAs among your group, we will offer them free CPE over on that site: http://cpe4cpas.com/ Perhaps you could use that incentive and those three episodes to recruit CPAs to be SCORE counselors!
